Samsung Launches World’s Slimmest Tablet Galaxy Tab S2 In India
Samsung has recently introduced the world’s slimmest tablet in India. Dubbed as the Galaxy Tab S2, the tablet was unveiled globally in July. Priced at ₹ 39,400, Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE is available across the country through retail stores in Gold, Black and White variants. Sporting a screen with 4:3 aspect ratio, the voice-calling tablet looks similar to an iPad.
The Tab S2 sports a 24.63cm (9.7-inch) Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. Powered by a octa-core Exynos 5433 processor coupled with 3GB RAM, the tablet comes with 32GB in-built storage with expandability upto 128GB via microSD card. Packed with a robust 5870mAh battery, the phone claims to deliver upto 12 hours of talk time.
The tab runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It features an 8MP auto-focus rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing selfies. With LTE, 2G/ 3G, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1 BLE, GPS, GLONASS and Micro-USB, the device comes with built-in accelerometer, fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, compass, hall sensor and RGB sensor.
