Samsung has quietly introduced Galaxy S5 Neo. Though there has been no official announcement, the Galaxy Neo has been listed online and is now available in the Netherlands. Priced at approximately ₹ 33,000, Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo would be shipped by the end of this month in black, gold and silver variants.
If we talk about the features, Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo sports a 12.95cm (5.1 inch) Amoled full-HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Powered by a 64-bit 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7580 processor coupled with 2GB RAM, the phone bears 16GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Backed by a 2800mAh battery, the device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It sports a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, auto-focus and full HD (1080p) video recording, along with a 5MP front-facing camera to capture beautiful selfies.
Its connectivity options include LTE Cat6 (50Mbps upload / 300Mbps download), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, GPS with AGPS and NFC. The release of Galaxy S5 Neo amid reports about the upcoming Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note 5 is a surprising treat for Samsung fans.
