The prices for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the S4 Mini smartphones, in India, have been cut by the South Korean company. According to reports, the Galaxy S4 Mini will now cost Rs 23,360, while the Galaxy S3 will be priced at Rs 25,400. The prices of both the devices have been cut by about Rs 3,000 each. This comes a few weeks after the official sales launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet device.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini has a 10.9-cm (4.3-inch) display along with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual core processor and has 2 GB of RAM. It also has an 8 mega pixel rear camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S3, on the other hand, has a 12.2-cm (4.8-inch) screen along with a 1.4 GHz quad core processor. In addition, the device has 1 GB of RAM and the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. This device also has an 8 mega pixel rear camera.
These are not the only two devices from Samsung to have gone through price cuts though. According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy Core is now available at Rs 13,520 from Rs 15,690. The Galaxy Note 2, which preceded the Note 3, has gone from being priced at Rs 32,150 to Rs 28,000 in the market. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was launched on 25 September, the device was priced at Rs 49,990.
