Samsung has launched REX, a new series of Smart feature phones today in India at a starting price band of Rs. 4280. The price ranges from Rs. 4280 to Rs. 6490 for this series. This new range of Rex feature phones are aimed at Nokia’s Asha range of feature phones.
The Samsung REX series consists of four devices; REX 90, REX 80, REX 70 and REX 60.

When ITVar News approached Asim Warsi, Vice President, Samsung Mobile India and enquired with him about the Indian manufacturing of this series, to which he affirmed that in terms of complete phone as a series, this is a first series manufactured in India.
Confirming about the availability of this series, he informed that by February end, the Rex series will be available in the market.
We further enquired with him, whether the Samsung App store is accessible for Rex user, regarding this, he said, “Samsung App store is accessible for Rex user s and consumers can have access to free games for 3 months from the date of acquisition of device.
