Samsung’s Galaxy Mega 2 To Come With 5.9-inch Display

Samsung is reportedly working on Galaxy Mega 2 smartphone, which will be available at a budget price range, claimed some online reports. Galaxy Mega is company’s large display smartphone series. Company had released Galaxy Mega 6.3 and other phones in the series last year in the Indian market.

Samsung probably run benchmark tests of this new phone on GFX bench, due to which some specs of the phone have been revealed. The new phone will have large 14.9-cm (5.9-inch) display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Samsung is targeting budget segment users with Galaxy Mega 2.

The Mega 2 will come with Qualcomm’s quadcore snapdragon 410 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device has 12MP rear camera and 4.7MP front facing camera for video calling. It will have 8GB of internal storage. However, there is no confirmation about microSD card slot in Samsung Mega 2.

The phone will have 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS for connectivity. The phone comes with accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and light sensors. The phone is supposed to have Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

Rest details and features of the phone are not yet disclosed. We will probably get to see the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 in the market in coming months. The new Mega 2 is Samsung’s low-end Note like device in budget range.
