Samsung’s Gear 360 VR Camera Will Launch Later This Month
Rumour mill is abuzz that South Korean electronic giant Samsung is set to launch gadgets more than just smartphones at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress show.
According to a report by Sammobile, Samsung will also launch a 360-degree camera called The Gear 360. The VR camera is reported to be a “compact spherical camera capable of capturing 360 degree imagery using two 180 degree fisheye lenses.”
The report also revealed some specifications of the device such as the camera resolution with 3840x1920p when shooting in dual lens mode, or 1920x1920p in single lens mode.
It is said to come with a separate remote viewfinder application with basic camera features such as HDR, exposure control, white balance and ISO settings and a Liveview option.
The VR camera reportedly has an in-built battery can be connected with a smartphone via Bluetooth or the Gear 360 Connect app.
