Schneider Electric Announces The Expansion Of Its Smart-UPS On-Line

Schneider Electric announced the expansion of its Smart-UPS On-Line uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) with state of the art, Next Gen online UPS – 5kVA model.

Delivering the most manageable, reliable, dense, and efficient UPS in its class, the 5kVA UPS units have a power factor of 0.9, with a separate bypass for ‘Hot Standby’ redundancy.

A flexible design that can be configured for rack-mounted or free standing applications also makes the 5kVA Smart-UPS On-Line easy to install, operate, and service in almost any environment. Additionally, integrated wePorChute Network Shutdown and an embedded network management card with environmental monitoring and remote user interface enable further accessories and communication options to be conveniently added.

The new 5kVA Smart-UPS On-Line model is equipped with a bundle of features to improve efficiency allowing end users to reduce their annual utility cost. New model is ENERGY STAR® qualified and is operable in a high efficiency “green” mode that can reach 98 percent efficiency.

The 5kVA Smart-UPS On-Line’s graphical LCD display with multi-color backlight provides a real-time, at-a-glance display of UPS status as well as diagnostic and log information.
