Schneider Electric launched a portable charging device 
called APC Mobile Power Pack. The usage of mobile phones and tablet in India is increasing at a fast rate and most of the people today use their devices for music, browsing and various other battery consuming applications. To make everything feasible for customer, APC Mobile Power Pack comes with 1.5A mini USB Charging port to charge unit, 1A USB port to charge mobiles, 2.4A USB port to charge tablets, 0.3mtr Charging cable and push – button LED display to show available battery life at a glance.
Speaking on the occasion, Nikhil Pathak Vice President and Country General Manager – IT Business India &SAARC at Schneider Electric India, said, “Looking at the growing demand of smartphones and tablets, APC’s Mobile Power Pack will easily connect with the tech savvy consumers today. The product is been designed keeping in mind about the Indian customers and the major benefit of the pack is that it saves battery life and also energy.”
APC Mobile Power Pack with its sleek and smart design has two variants – a) 5000mAh, which can charge smart phone twice, and half charge a tablet; b) 10000mAh charges smart phone four times and fully charges a tablet. The product comes with multiple safety features like Over- charging protection, Over- discharge protection, Short circuit protection, Ultra low dark current, Overload protection to name a few. It is ideal for powering and charging Smart phones, iPad, and tablets on the go even when no charging points are available.
The APC Mobile Power Pack saves battery lifespan and energy by automatically shutting down when the connected devices are fully charged. The product will be available in the Indian market.
