Seagate Technology launched world’s thinnest hard drive at 12.1mm, Seagate Backup Plus Slim, that will help back up content from social networks, personal computers and even mobile devices.
The Seagate Dashboard software provides an easy one-click backup solution and can be set as a scheduled backup up as needed. It will also back up Facebook and Flickr albums to ensure that even video and photos shared through these networks are backed up.
Even the photos one has been tagged in can be backed up from the social networks to the drive.
Seagate Backup Plus storage is available in stores by capacity: for Backup Plus Slim portable: 500GB Slim – Rs 4,250, 1TB Slim – Rs 6,000, 2TB Slim – Rs 10,500 and the 4TB Fast – Rs 25,000. The high-capacity Seagate Backup Plus desktop 3.5-inch is available in 2TB – Rs 8,200, 3TB – Rs 11,500, 4TB – Rs 14,000.
