IT Voice News: SecurEnvoy, the developer of the patented tokenless two-factor authentication method, is pressing SecurEnvoy_logo ahead with its international  strategy with a sales office on the  US East Coast which will be  operated by Darrick Dixon in the  role of Channel Sales Manager. Shortly after graduating with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), he was appointed Regional Marketing & Sales Manager at Business Land International (BLI) in the Atlanta area. Darrick subsequently worked in the IT Consulting, Design & Integration Department at Arthur Andersen LLP, where he worked as a Technology Sales Manager, and then at t-QED Technology Services. Prior to joining SecurEnvoy, he held the position of Director of Commercial Markets & Channel Alliances (Eastern Region) at Perimeter E-Security. In this role, the proficiently managed customers, channel partners, resellers and sales staff for the SaaS cloud provider of information security and infrastructure services. There, the channel program developed by Darrick resulted in a 200% increase in revenues in just three years.

“I know that great things are expected of me and I look forward to making them happen right away,” comments Darrick. “The USA is a huge market waiting to be exploited. In addition to its tokenless approach, SecurEnvoy also stands out from the competition as a result of its patenting of the ‘Preload’ function for the SMS transmission channel. Each authentication query triggers the delivery of a new one-time passcode that the user can enter along with his/her username and password in order to enable authentication. As the new code is also updated within the old message, transmission delays are avoided and identification runs smoothly.”

In addition to SMS, there are further passcode transmission channels available in the form of e-mail, soft token app and the One Swipe method, which uses a QR code. Further information about the various token options is available on the SecurEnvoy website.
