Sennheiser has expanded its range of Ambeo Soundbars in the Indian market by introducing the new Ambeo Soundbar Plus and Ambeo Sub.
The Ambeo Soundbar Plus, a compact offering from Sennheiser, boasts a height of just 7 centimeters. Featuring nine drivers, including two 4-inch woofers and seven full-range aluminum drivers, this soundbar utilizes various driver orientations to create a 7.1.4 surround sound illusion. Through virtualization technology, it achieves a three-dimensional surround sound without requiring extra speakers or pairing capabilities.
Additionally, the Ambeo Soundbar Plus adapts its audio output based on the played content and provides customizable presets and equalizer settings via the Smart Control App. It supports Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, and Spotify Connect for convenient streaming from various devices.
The new Ambeo Sub is a robust subwoofer equipped with Ambeo virtualization technology and an 8-inch proprietary woofer. Capable of reaching frequencies as low as 27Hz, this subwoofer ensures high-quality bass. The closed enclosure enhances bass performance, and the multi-sub array technology permits connection of up to four subwoofers for enhanced bass output. Moreover, the subwoofer can be individually calibrated for optimal performance and is easily set up using wireless connectivity.
The AMBEO Sub features advanced self-calibration and a built-in far-field microphone, enabling it to adapt to the room’s acoustics for an optimized listening experience. Both the Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Plus and Ambeo Sub are now available for purchase in India. The Soundbar Plus is priced at ₹139,990, while the Sub is priced at ₹69,990. These devices are available through Sennheiser’s e-store, Amazon, and various other electronic retailers.
