Sennheiser has launched numerous headphones at the ongoing IFA 2016 conference in Berlin, Germany.
The launches include three new series – HD 2, HD 4 and HD 500, as well as the PXC 480 travel headphones.
The HD 4 series includes HD 4.20s, HD 4.30i and HD 4.30G headphones. These feature a closed-back and around-ear design that makes for a comfortable fit. Out of these, HD 4.30i and HD 4.30G (available in both Black and White colour variants), come with storage pouches as well.
While all three models have single-sided cable with smart remote and in-line microphone, the HD 4.30i and HD 4.30G also have a three-button remote to control music volume and playback. They are compatible with iOS and Android devices respectively.
Available in Black and White colour variants, the new HD 2 series includes HD 2.10, HD 2.20s, HD 2.30i and HD 2.30G headphones . Just like the HD 4 series, the HD 2.30i and HD 2.30G models come with soft storage pouches.
The HD 2.20s features a one-button smart remote and in-line microphone for answering calls. Also, both HD 2.30i and HD 2.30G are compatible with iOS and Android smart devices respectively.
Both HD 2 and HD 4 series (and their constituent products) will be available from September 2016.
Moving on to the HD 500, this series includes HD 559, HD 569, HD 579 and HD 599. All the models have replaceable pads and large-sized earcups. With the exception of the HD 569, all headphones in the series are open-back type. However, the HD 569 also includes an optional cable with in-line mic and remote for using it better with mobile devices. The headphones will be available from September 2016.
Lastly, the PXC 480 features a fold-flat, collapsible design. There’s also an in-line smart remote and high-quality microphone for handling calls. The PXC 480 headphones feature Sennheiser’s ‘NoiseGard’ hybrid active noise cancellation technology . These will be available starting November 2016.
