ShoreTel Website Wins “Best In Class”In The Interactive Media Awards
ShoreTel®, the leading provider of brilliantly simple phone systems and unified communications solutions, announced its website has been recognized by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. as “Best In Class” in both the telecommunications and B2B categories of the 2015 Interactive Media Awards™ (IMA).
The awards are held annually by the Interactive Media Council (IMC), an organization of Web designers, developers, advertisers and other professionals dedicated to elevating the Internet’s standards of excellence.
The awards recognize individuals and organizations for excellence in website design and development. The Best In Class award is the highest honor awarded by the IMA and represents the best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. A group of 79 IMC members from different companies worldwide act as judges.
“We’re delighted to be recognized by the Interactive Media Awards in not only one but two categories for our new website,” said Mark Roberts, CMO of ShoreTel. “The team worked very hard to consolidate two websites into one with a whole new visual design and enhanced user experience with simplified navigation. The rollout of our new unified communications platform, ShoreTel Connect™, drove the creation of new content for the site.”
ShoreTel originally only submitted an entry to be considered in the telecommunications category, but the IMC judging panel recommended the site be included in the B2B category “for reasons relating to quality and relevance,” the organization said.
