Smartron Announces T.book Convertible Laptop @ Rs. 39,999

Smartron today forayed into the Indian market with the launch of t.book, its ultrabook convertible. The company also announced on the event that it will soon be launching a smartphone, t.phone, in India.

Priced at Rs 39,999, the ultrabook features a 12.2-inch WQXGA IPS display with (2560x1600p) resolution. Powered by 2GHz Intel Core M 64 Bit processor, the device comes with 4GB of system memory and can hold SSD cards of up to 128GB.

The t.book sports a 5MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary camera and houses a 36Whr lithiium polymer battery. The ultrabook has been launched in Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro versions and has two full sized USB 3.0 port, one micro HDMI port, a micro SD card slot, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and Type C charging port.

Besides these products, Smartron also announced a virtual customer support programme T Care and Google Play’s equivalent T Store.

The company has Sachin Tendulkar as a strategic investor and brand ambassador.
