Some BlackBerry 10.2 details revealed

BlackBerry Product Manager, Michael Clewley, shared some details about what exactly BlackBerry 10.2 will bring with it.

Not long after the BlackBerry OS 10.1 update was rolled out, the company is completely focused on getting the OS 10.2 update out there soon. BlackBerry’s Product Manager, Michael Clewley has revealed a few of the features that users can expect in BlackBerry 10.2, which should be released in the second half of this year.

Cleweley made this announcement via his BlackBerry Messenger channel, revealing four features. First off, OS 10.2 will finally bring support for standard unicode emojis. Expected, considering BBM is supposed to go multi-platform very soon. Second is the “Setting a time to remember item” feature. Next up is the, option for multiple alarms, Also, OS 10.2 will bring support for Level 1 Notifications.

This is the first time the company has talked about the OS 10.2 update, but the bigger surprise is how quickly the gears have changed since the 10.1 update rolled out of the door! All BlackBerry Z10 users have not received the update yet, but it is believed that BlackBerry will release the SDK for OS 10.2 will be released sometime next month.
