Sony has expanded its home theatre line-up in India by launching four new home theatre projectors. The new Sony home theater projectors come with native 4K to Full HD 3D resolution.
The 4K display resolution projectors are available in four models: VPL-VW520ES, VPL-VW320ES, VPL-HW65ES and VPL-GTZ1.
Sony’s VPL-VW520ES and VPL-VW320ES models come with advanced SXRD panels for the native 4K resolution and Sony’s proprietary TRILUMINOS technology. According to the company, the projectors come with the lamp that deliver 6,000 hours of performance. Both models have a built-in RF 3D transmitter for 3D synchronization. For connectivity, they sport HDMI standard and HDCP 2.2.
The VPL-HW65ES features the full HD SXRD panels that combines Sony’s Reality Creation system with Full HD. This home theater system too comes with a 6,000 hours lasting lamp and also provides a built-in RF 3D transmitter and a USB update function to enable the device’s firmware to be updated via a simple download or thumb drive transfer.
The last product in the series is the VPL-GTZ1 projector that comes with 4K SXRD panel and laser phosphor light source. It is capable of creating up to approximately 147-inch images (diagonal) and zoom down to 66-inch. The company claims a 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation without the need for a lamp exchange.
