After introducing Xperia Z4 featuring an aluminium frame, Japanese tech-giant Sony has announced two new flagship smartphones for selfie-addicts. Named as the Xperia C4 and Xperia C4 dual-sim, the devices come with a 5MP front camera with LED flash.
Sony Xperia C4 comes with a 14 cm (5.5-inches) HD IPS display with the resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The device has a 13MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash along with a 5MP front-facing camera and includes the company’s Exmor R sensor alongside an LED flash and a 25mm wide-angle lens.
The phone has 2GB RAM and 16GB flash memory which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD. Sony Xperia C4 relies on a 1.7 GHz MediaTek MTK6752 processor, which is a 64-bit octa-core CPU and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Powered by a 2600mAh battery, it is rated to deliver up to 12 hours 47 minutes of talk time and up to 682 hours of stand-by time.
Its connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with hotspot, 3G, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Micro-USB, DLNA, and NFC. The handset which measures 150.3×77.4×7.9mm and weighs 147 grams, is available in different colours, namely White, Black, and Green. The much-anticipated Sony Xperia C4 is expected to be available in June, though the price of the device has not been revealed yet.
