In Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, the Sohansingh Smriti Kaushal Vikas Kendra constructed by Laghu Udyog Bharati in the April Park Industrial Area was inaugurated on December 11th by the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar. Dr. Krishna Gopal, Joint General Secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, was also present. Notably absent was Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, who could not attend due to prior commitments. The State Minister of Industry, Shri Rajyavardhan Singh, was present as a distinguished guest.
Naresh Pareek, the National Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharati, shared during a press conference at Seva Sadan that this skill center would assist in providing high-level skills to the youth of the state, enabling them to serve as skilled personnel in industrial institutions. He mentioned that this center has been a dream project for Laghu Udyog Bharati, established under the guidance of the organization’s National General Secretary, Prakash Chandra.Mahendra Khurana, the state vice president and coordinator of the skill center, stated that the center, built over an area of 4015 square meters, is the largest and most advanced skill development center in the state.
The center offers training in various fields such as entrepreneurship development, fashion and apparel, block printing, embroidery and needlework, account and financial management, GST expertise, MS Word, IT tools, incubation startups, electric vehicle repair, drone operation, 3D printing, solar equipment manufacturing, artificial intelligence, handicrafts, terracotta, blue pottery, and wood carving.
