STEM Metaverse, an edtech company that provides futuristic and innovative learning solutions for school students had recently opened country-wide student participation for their VR Art Gallery and is now all set to showcase its final and top 50 entries in a Virtual Art Fair to be held at zoodle.in on 31st January 2023 and 1st February 2023.
This virtual art gallery is designed to be ane-of-a-kind art show that will feature a 360-degree experience and provide students with an opportunity to showcase their artwork on the topic ‘My Vision for India in the 2030s.’ Submissions were welcomed from students in the form of drawings, paintings, pictures of murals and sculptures, digital art, etc. Participation was welcomed from PAN India, and one of the most prominent trends observed was that the brand saw a majority of entries coming from the South and many were even from smaller cities like Bikaner, Chandrapur, Awalpur, Kharagpur, Tuticorin, Tirupur, and others. All the artwork was judged by renowned contemporary artist Mr. Pratap Morey and a total of 100 entries were selected which will now be a part of the Virtual Fair.
“It was amazing to see how conscious and sensitive our kids are about the world that they live in and how they envision creating a balance. We got to see mind-blowing artworks inspired by such intellectually diverse topics that ranged from Robots and Space, Electric Vehicles, Unity, Ecology, Education, Swaccha Bharat, and Women Empowerment. Even Mental Health found a mention in their vision for the 2030s.” shares CEO & Co-founder of STEM Metaverse, Mrs. Ritika Kumar
She further adds, “As the internet penetration increases, online engagement events like these are now better received in Tier 2 Tier 3 cities and even smaller towns. Hence, the EdTech industry needs a very strong focus on these cities in order to tap into diverse skillsets and hidden talents in the country. Events like the Virtual Art Fair will thus be great stepping stones in making the 2030s vision presented by our students come true.”
Shrey Mishra, CoFounder, XR Central added “There’s a huge push towards NFTs and virtual art that everyone is talking about. While in-person galleries aren’t going away, metaverse and Virtual Reality art galleries are offering people accessibility, immersive digital experiences, and a new way to enjoy fine art. We are super-stoked to be the metaverse partner for Ritika and her team at StemMetaverse for this art exhibition powered by our platform MetaQube.
This Virtual Art Gallery will be live on 31st January and 1st February in collaboration with the AR & VR industry leaders – XR Central. Through the collaboration, XR Central is making tech-based education more accessible and creating an immersive experience for everyone involved.
