Schneider Electric has announced the availability of energy efficient APC Surge Protectors in India. APC Surge Protectors provide continuous power protection for home, office ,mobile electronics. The product range starts from Rs.999 onwards.
APC Surge Protectors variants provide multi-stage surge protection as well as noise reduction. In addition to proven reliability and safety, various models within the line offer additional features including 10/100 Base T Ethernet surge protection jacks and USB charger ports to serve the needs of both home and business users.
One of the unique features of APC Surge Protector is the Twin USB ports for charging mobile devices safely available for the first time in India.

APC Surge Protectors come in a variety of models, offering four and six socket, four and eight socket with USB port and six and ten with power saving. The P6-IN, P6FG-IN models offer six power outlets in a corded strip form factor. The P8U2-IN offer eight outlets and P10FG-IN model offer 10 outlets. For customers looking for more specific protection, the Surge Protectors offer twin USB ports for charging mobile devices safely with USB charging LED.
All models feature multi-stage surge protection circuitry which ensures protection that is guaranteed for life. All three power modes (L-N, L-G, N-G) are protected and reliable use of thermal fuses that helps to ensure safe operation under all conditions.
Each of the Surge models has been tested and approved to work safely with the connected service provider equipment and is equipped with a wiring fault LED which proactively notifies for the potentially dangerous building wiring conditions.
