Displays laser focus on the fast-growing security market; Recognizes 2015 Asia Pacific and Japan partner award winners
After rolling out an enhanced channel partner program designed to help security-focused partners grow their businesses earlier in the month, Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMC), the world’s largest cybersecurity company, held its very first Symantec Partner Engage 2015 Conference for security partners in Singapore this week.
Aimed to Excite, Engage and Empower the partner community, Symantec Partner Engage 2015 Conference was attended by 170 most valued and strategic partners from across Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).

A key highlight of the event was the Partner Awards which recognize security-focused channel partners that have demonstrated innovative delivery of services and solutions to customers during the past year and acknowledge their dedication and commitment to selling Symantec’s security solutions. The winners were selected based on criteria such as innovation, overall performance in revenue, deal registration, technical and marketing investments, customer service excellence and certification.
The Symantec APJ Partner Awards include four APJ award categories and six regional awards. The winners are:
APJ GSI Partner of the Year: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Security Services
APJ Distributor of the Year: SoftBank Commerce & Service Corp., Japan
APJ VAR Partner of the Year: Beijing Com&Lan System Tech. Co. Ltd, China
APJ INNOVATION Partner of the Year- Cloud Solutions: InfoTrust, Australia
Regional Partner of the Year: Intalock Technologies Pty Ltd, Pacific; Jainam Technologies Pvt. Ltd., India; Digital China (China) Limited, GCR; ECS (Shanghai) Management Co Ltd, GCR; Ingram Micro Asia Ltd., ASEAN; Ricoh Japan Corporation, Japan; and Insung Digital, Korea.
