TeamViewer Introduces Cutting-Edge Spatial Computing Solution for Industrial Training

A global leader in digital workplace solutions, has unveiled its latest spatial computing technology aimed at transforming industrial training and onboarding processes. With a strong presence in Augmented Reality (AR), the company is demonstrating how its solutions are helping industries such as aerospace, automotive, and mechanical engineering enhance training programs worldwide.

One notable implementation of TeamViewer’s technology is at GE Aerospace, a leading aircraft engine supplier. In collaboration with Siemens, TeamViewer’s Frontline Spatial solution provides interactive digital twins of commercial aircraft engines to technicians through AR technology. This enables high-quality, cost-efficient, and detailed remote training across hundreds of locations.

At the Hannover Messe industrial fair, Jaswinder Walia, Executive Director & CIO Engineering at GE Aerospace, will discuss the benefits of spatial computing in a panel alongside Tony Hemmelgarn, CEO of Siemens Digital Industries, and Oliver Steil, CEO of TeamViewer (Monday, March 31, 14:30 CET, Siemens booth, Hall 9, Booth 53).

Advancing Engineering Through Spatial Computing

Oliver Steil, CEO of TeamViewer, highlighted how spatial computing is revolutionizing the engineering sector by enabling digitalized remote and on-site learning. He emphasized that companies can efficiently deploy resources, address the skilled labor shortage, and significantly reduce costs. The technology provides an immersive 3D user experience, allowing technicians and frontline workers intuitive access to complex engineering data. Steil will further discuss these advancements in his keynote speech on aftersales service in manufacturing (Monday, March 31, 15:30–16:00 CET, Digital Transformation Stage, Hall 17, E44).

Interactive Demonstrations at Hannover Messe

Visitors to Hall 14, Booth H70 can experience TeamViewer’s spatial computing capabilities firsthand through demonstrations featuring a Formula One race car engine and 3D industrial models. Additionally, TeamViewer will showcase major portfolio advancements in:

  • Shopfloor Access: With manufacturers requiring secure remote access for suppliers and OEMs, TeamViewer offers a zero-trust remote connectivity solution that ensures cybersecurity while complying with regulations like NIS2. This allows seamless IT and OT environment integration.
  • AR for Aftersales & Logistics: TeamViewer’s AR-based workflow solutions optimize technical field service and warehouse operations, making them smarter and more efficient.
  • Future of the Digital Workplace: The combination of remote connectivity, AI, and Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management tools is shaping the future of IT support. With AI-powered solutions, IT teams can detect and resolve digital friction, optimize operations, reduce downtime, and enhance user experiences.

Strategic Technology Partnerships

TeamViewer is also presenting its latest collaborations within the global tech ecosystem at partner booths including SAP, Microsoft, and Siemens. A special session at the Microsoft booth (Thursday, April 3, 15:30-15:50 CET, Hall 17, Booth G06) will feature Artus Rupalla, Director of Product Management, and Sascha Ballweg, Senior Product Manager at TeamViewer, discussing AI-powered smart services and seamless IT/OT connectivity.

With these innovations, TeamViewer continues to push the boundaries of spatial computing, ensuring industries worldwide can leverage cutting-edge technology to streamline operations, improve workforce training, and enhance digital transformation strategies.
