The Future of Internet:Internet of Things

This seems like a no-brainer, but the Internet has shaped a generation. Transformed lives and will continue to do in the world so rapidly evolving. Imagine a Covid-19 pandemic without the Internet could we have stayed at home for months without being able to access the Internet? Net’s unique strength is that no two people will agree on why it’s an intricate part of our lives. The world’s most extensive and most diverse library is a global news channel, a social club, a research guide, shopping services, town hall a community, and multimedia kiosk. Add to that the most affordable mass media ever. The Internet so structures our daily routine that we hardly ever stop to reflect on what life was like before the World Wide Web.

The Internet has open avenues where none existed. Nobody knew how powerful it could be. Since its inception 25 years ago, the Internet has transformed all levels of business and society.
We have achieved so much in the past few years in this sector, but where to next? What is the future of the Internet? Is the only advancement Internet can be increasing the speed? Is that all?
The Internet of Everything is what it’s being called. It will be the biggest driver towards creating an internet that is ‘like electricity.’ In the next decade. The Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and big data will make people more aware of their world around and their habits and behaviour. Internet of Things and Big Data are strictly intertwined innovations that will operate the Internet of the future and continue to obstruct business and society on massive scales. One of the most important buzz words in the digital technologies market right now is a “smart machine.” Smart machines are systems trained to implement artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to make resolve problems without human intervention.

Examples of these systems are increasingly evident: contextually aware devices, smartphones that use the information to influence computer behaviour, intelligent personal assistants like Google Now and Apple’s Siri, smart advisors such as IBM Watson, advanced global industrial systems, and autonomous vehicles driverless cars and Amazon’s fleet of delivery drones called Air Prime.
In this covid-19 era, we all have seen how businesses for online education services boom from Byju’s classes to Khan Academy and many other such platforms. Prominent players who taught in traditional methods have also come into the online market because they are being forced to; otherwise, they’ll lose their market share. That is the impact of the Internet far, think what will happen when it becomes seamless. It is an incredible feat that we have achieved. But to move forward, there are still so many obstacles which we have to tackle and to do that. We collectively have to understand its implications because the Internet has changed not only our lives but also the earth. And for us to evolve further, we cannot forget our most valuable resource that we have hence is our earth and each other. So learn and grow and prosper in this incredible world.
