ITVoice News: After long delays and overstated rumours, the first batch of Apple HealthKit has finally arrived. The HealthKit launched by Apple will collect all data from various health and fitness apps and thereby would accumulate all of it for the Apple users on the new Health App. The company suggests that the app would help to organise all the health related data while allowing all the personal health apps to connect among themselves.
There are number of HealthKit-compatible apps which are listed in Apple Store. FitPort is one of the first health apps which monitors health information and tracks all health related details like calories burned, steps taken and much more. MyFitnessPal, Yummly, CarrotFit and WebMD and few among the other HealthKit-integrated apps.
To download any of these apps, users are required to upgrade their OS version to iOS 8.0.2. The app keeps all the heath related records at one location by extracting data from all other third-party apps, for instance, Nike.
If users would get comfortable with this new software, then might even transform the heath industry in a better way. Reports reveal that for the success of this app, Apple is even working with health care providers like, Mount Sinai Hospital, the Cleveland clinic, Johns Hopkins University and electronic health records provide AllScripts. It even announced about its plan to partner with major health brand like, the Mayo Clinic. Now, the time would decide about the hype created and success attained by the new app.
