The Indian variants of the upcoming iQOO Z7 Pro will sport the Snapdragon 782G processor

An entirely new variant of the Z7 smartphone was unveiled by iQOO for China yesterday, shortly after the company had revealed an India-only Z7 last week. Confusingly, it appears that the vivo subsidiary brand is currently trying to introduce the Chinese Z7 to India and other nations outside of China, but only under the Z7 Pro name.

A device with the same Snapdragon 782G SoC as the Chinese Z7 has been discovered in the public Geekbench database. Unsurprisingly, the prototype that performed the benchmark had Android 13 installed and 12GB of RAM, but we anticipate that other memory options will also be offered when the phone is released.

It achieved scores of 873 on the single-core test and 2,928 on the multi-core test, though since this is a prototype you shouldn’t presumably pay too much attention to the results.

Expect the international Z7 Pro to have a 6.64-inch 1080×2388 120 Hz IPS LCD touchscreen, a 64 MP main camera with OIS and a 2 MP depth sensor alongside, a 16 MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W wired charging support if it turns out to be nothing more than a rebranded Chinese Z7.
