The iQOO Z8 smartphone, featuring a 6.64-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 8200 processor, and 12GB of RAM, has been spotted in benchmark tests

Following its recent appearance on Geekbench, the iQOO Z8 smartphone from the Z series has now emerged in the AnTuTu benchmark with the model number V2314A, providing insights into its specifications. The device has achieved an AnTuTu score of 972,222 points, marking the highest score recorded for the Dimensity 8200 chipset so far. Notably, the benchmark also reveals key features such as 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 120Hz display. Additionally, the phone is anticipated to incorporate vapor chamber cooling technology.

Rumored specifications for the iQOO Z8 include a 6.64-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, clocked at up to 3.1GHz, accompanied by the Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. The smartphone is expected to be available in two RAM variants – 8GB and 12GB – with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB using UFS 3.1 technology. The device will run Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 as its user interface.

Camera-wise, the iQOO Z8 is rumored to sport a 64MP main rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, it is expected to house a 16MP selfie camera. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, USB Type-C audio, and stereo speakers. Connectivity options comprise 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax), Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS/GLONASS. The phone will likely pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W ultra-fast flash charging.

The iQOO Z8 and its counterpart, the Z8x, are projected to be officially unveiled in China during early September.
