Taiwanese tech-firm Asus has recently introduced a new 4GB RAM variant of the ZenFone 2 ZE551ML. Announcing the news via a Facebook post. Asus India wrote, “Your wish is our command! Due to the overwhelming demand for #Zenfone2 4GB variant, we’re bringing limited stock of ZE551ML / 1.8 GHz Processor / 4 GB RAM / 32 GB Storage priced at Rs.18,999 specially for India.”
The new Asus smartphone features a 14cm (5.5-inch) HD IPS display with the resolution of 1280×1920 pixels. Offering a pixel density of 403ppi with a wide 178-degree viewing angle, the handset also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass3, which helps protects the screens from cracks and scratches. Powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, the device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a new version of Asus ZenUI.
The phone which is available in two RAM variants, 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM apparently has expandable storage capacity of 64 GB. The dual-SIM handset sports a 13MP PixelMaster camera with an f/2.0 wide-aperture lens and a 5MP front-facing camera. Priced at Rs.18,999, the new model is also available via Flipkart just like other Asus ZenFone 2 smartphones.
