This is how much Google’s first Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches may cost

56952990A recent online report suggested that Google’s upcoming smartwatches would be manufactured by LG . The smartwatches – LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport, are expected to launch on February 9 and run the latest Android Wear 2.0. Now, the prices of the yet-to-be-announced wearables have leaked online. According to a report by Android Police website, LG Watch Sport is expected to be priced at $349 (around Rs 23,600), while the Watch Style will bear a price tag of $249 (about Rs 16,800).
LG Watch Sport is expected to feature a 1.38-inch display of 480×480 pixel resolution. It’s likely to come with IP68 certification and have 768MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. With a 430mAh battery, the smartwatch may come in Titanium and Dark Blue colour options. Connectivity options are expected to include Wi-Fi, GPS, LTE, NFC and Bluetooth. The smartwatch will also come with a heart rate sensor and Android Pay support. On the other hand, the Watch Style may sport a 1.2-inch display of 360×360 pixel resolution. It’s expected to have 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Having IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, the wearable will have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as major connectivity options. LG Watch Style is expected to come in Titanium, Silver and Rose Gold colour options.
Both smartwatches will likely also have Google Assistant and sport a digital crown.
Recently, some images of the smartwatches surfaced online. These reveal that Watch Sport will come with three buttons, while Watch Style will have only one. Both wearables will sport a metallic design. The Sports variant will have a rubber strap, while the Style version will come with leather strap.
