ITVoice News: One of the biggest story-makers at the ongoing IFA 2014 is Toshiba. It has made some great and exciting announcements like $120 Windows mini-tablet, the Encore mini launch, and some interesting 2-in-1 PCs too.
Encore Mini is the star of the entire event for more than one reasons. It is a 17.78-cm (7-inch) Windows 8.1 based mini-tablet which will be available for just $119.99. Now it’s available on Toshiba’s website and will start shipping later this month. It is packed with Intel Atom Z3735G processor, 1024 x 600 LED screen, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of eMMC storage.
Then comes Satellite Radius 11 from Toshiba which is a 29.46-cm (11.6-inch) multi-touch display convertible laptop, featuring a “gear type” 360 degree hinge which provides five different usage modes: laptop, tablet, audience, presentation and tabletop. It also comes with Windows 8.1 with Bing as default search along with 2 GB RAM, 500 GB of HDD storage, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, HDMI out and a SD/SDHC media card reader.
Then Satellite CL10-B is launched which is a compact laptop and it also runs on Windows 8.1. It features 29.46-cm (11.6-inch) multi-touch display at 1366 x 768, 2GB RAM, 32 GB of eMMC storage, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, HDMI out and a SD/SDHC media card reader.
Satellite Pro R50-B features 39.62-cm (15.6-inch) 1366 x 768 display, 4th generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM and a 500 GB or 1 TB hard drive. It also has two USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port and an SD card slot.
