TP-LINK India today announcedthat the company led consumerWLAN market share in Q3 2014, according to the most recent research published by Indian research and advisory firm 6Wresearch, which conducts the research on various aspect and industries. They have a special unit to do research on routers segment and according to the research conducted by them, in their report TP-LINK emerged as market leader in commercial/SOHO router segment in India.
The 6Wresearch Quarterly WLAN Tracker – Q3 2014 Final Release – indicates that TP-LINK India leads its marketplace in market share (measured by units shipped):
- TP-LINK ranks number one in India at 28% market share
- The closest competitor has a 16% market share
- In commercial router segment, WLAN routers captured around 90% share of the market
TP-LINK Gains Market Share in India

According to 6Wresearch, “India’s Commercial and Enterprise Router market reached 1.15 million unit shipments in CY 3Q 2014, registering a YoY growth of around 7%. TP-LINK emerged as the market leader in commercial router segment”.
