TP-Link Launches Neffos X1 And X1 Max Smartphones At IFA 2016

TP-Link has showcased two smartphones — Neffos X1 and Neffos TP-LinkX1 Max at the ongoing IFA 2016 event. The company has priced the Neffos X1 at 199 Euros and Neffos X1 Max at 249 Euros. Both devices will go on sale in the fourth quarter.

In terms of specifications, the TP-Link Neffos X1 features a 5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution. It’s powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM. There’s also 16GB/32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by using microSD cards. For imaging duties, the Neffos X1 has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Running Android, the smartphone packs a 2,250mAh battery.

On the other hand, TP-Link Neffos X1 Max flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. Like the Neffos X1, it’s also powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled up with 3GB/4GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB/64GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to expand the storage up to 128GB by installing microSD cards. It sports 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera, along with a 3,000mAh battery.

Recently, TP-Link launched its TL-WA855RE Wi-Fi range extender in India. Priced at Rs 2,999, the extender is available exclusively on Amazon. The device claims to help users overcome Wi-Fi dead zones and is capable of offering speeds of up to 300Mbps.

TP-Link’s new Wi-Fi extender delivers 802.11ac performance and comes with two external high-gain antennas. The company claims that it boosts Wi-Fi signal so that it can pass through thick walls and ceilings.
