TP-LINK Neffos Y5L Announced With Android Marshmallow,5MP Camera
TP-Link has launched its latest smartphone Neffos Y5L.
In terms of specifications, TP-Link Neffos features a 4.5-
inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixel resolution. Powering the handset is a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It offers 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and comes with dual-sim functionality. It sports a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera for selfies. The device is backed by a 2,020 mAh battery and offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
This is the fourth smartphone of the company in Neffos series after C5L, C5 and C5 Max. The handset will come in Black, White and Yellow colour options and will be available in Europe West and East, South Asia and South East and the Middle East and Africa.
The company has not yet revealed the price of the smartphone .
TP-Link recently launched its TL-WA855RE Wi-Fi range extender at a price of Rs 2,999. The device offers speed of up to 300Mbps and will help users deal with Wi-Fi dead zones.
The new Wi-Fi extender delivers 802.11ac performance and comes with two external antennaes. The company claims these help it boosts Wi-Fi signals pass through thick walls and ceilings.
The device can also be used to create Wi-Fi access point, claims the company.
