Aims to leverage the veteran’s extensive expertise in the commercial vehicle industry to guide Truckola’s long-term vision
Underlining its commitment to disrupt the country’s long-haul cargo transportation landscape, Truckola, an asset-free, full-solution, tech-enabled interstate FTL transportation service provider, has appointed Anil Kapur as the Strategic Advisor to its Board of Directors. In his role at Truckola, Anil will guide and refine the company’s long-term vision and strategy. He will also be responsible for mentoring Truckola’s Sales & Marketing team, and will assist it in developing new business approaches and optimising its performance.
A veteran with more than three decades of experience, Anil brings with him invaluable insights into the commercial vehicle industry and its ecosystem. He joined Tata Motors, one of the largest automotive manufacturing companies in India, as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and rose through the ranks to become a Vice President managing USD 6 billion in nationwide sales of Commercial Vehicles for the company. By bringing him on board, Truckola will be looking to leverage his extensive industry knowledge to build credibility, deeply understand customer/vendor challenges, and strategise for rapid growth.

Having spent more than 15+ years each at Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles factory as well as its sales and marketing function, Anil has multiple successful strategic initiatives under his belt. These have been mostly related to sales transformation and top-line improvement, cost management & bottom-line improvement, market share improvement, turnaround in select segments, rural marketing, sales process, key account management process, and distribution model etc. He also has a proven track record in strategy development and deployment.
