Popular social networking site Twitter has recently launched a new Twitter Ads button which reportedly allows users to manage their Twitter ad campaigns on the go. Apparently, iPhone Operating System (iOS) as well as Android users would be able to see the Ads button next to the ‘Edit profile’ button on their profile pages.
While, the newly added button has been criticised by many, users who run an ad campaign will be able to take full advantage of this feature.
As the social network has not made any official announcement, there is no count of how many users are currently able to see the new Ads button on their smartphone applications. However, the new feature has already been updated on iOS and Android app stores.
Earlier this year, its rival Facebook had interestingly introduced a technique to manage Facebook ads through which users are able to upload pictures, write texts and target their preferred audience. Also, this is not the first time, when Twitter is announcing such a service. The feature was previously available in the Settings option, just above the options for Lists, Drafts and Help. This new service is expected to increase the revenue of the micro blogging site.
