Cab hailing app Uber announced tie-ups with Foodpanda and Zo Rooms for food delivery and stay options respectively.
Users who check-in with Zo Rooms, the company that also runs branded hostel brand Zostel, will get a free trip worth Rs 500. The Foodpanda alliance will help customers order food to the rooms; customers will also get coupons providing 50% off at the time of checking-in.
Saurabh Kochhar, MD of Foodpanda, said that the strategic collaboration would ensure that travellers have an “amazing and relaxing” experience, when away from home. “As the service industry is continuously converging their focus towards rigorous customer experience, with this move we’re addressing a traveller’s primary concerns stay, travel and food,” said Kochhar.
Uber said the partnerships would help its consumers to enjoy a seamless user experience while addressing the various pain points during travel.
