ViewSonic Corp. has filed a lawsuit against Inspan defaulting on payments. Inspan InfoTech Private Limited (“Inspan”), past distributor of ViewSonic products for the Indian market, has delayed and defaulted on its payment obligation on already purchased and received orders.
ViewSonic has already stopped its further supply of its products to Inspan and has already retained experienced Indian attorneys for a lawsuit against Inspan. As stated by company officials, Inspan’s delay and default honor its payment obligation is inexcusable. It is a serious violation of both the contractual terms between ViewSonic and Inspan, as well as an outright breach of the spirit of decent business conduct.
The litigation filed on April 22, 2013 with the Chennai High Court (Application No.1953 of 2013), states a civil litigation against Inspan for the aforesaid payment, together with accrued interest payment. ViewSonic hereby reiterates that it will not exonerate any distributor’s delay or default on payment and will take appropriate actions against such instances.
