At last, a version of the vivo T2 has been revived. There is reason to assume that a phone with the model number V2240 has turned up in the Geekbench 5 database, and that this is the T2 that will go on sale in India on April 11.
Again, this vivo T2 is distinct from the model that was supposed to debut in China but was subject to a number of delays. Qualcomm appears to be using a chipset with the codename “Holi” for both the Snapdragon 480 and the Snapdragon 695 in this one, which will be lower powered.
In a recent leak, two upcoming vivo smartphones, the T2 and T2x, have been spotted with mid-range Snapdragon chips. Specifically, the T2 is believed to feature the Snapdragon 480, while the T2x is expected to come with the newer Snapdragon 695.
Though neither chip is known for its processing power, the Snapdragon 695 does offer an improvement over its predecessor with newer A78 cores. The unit in question was also found to have 6GB of RAM, but it’s possible that other configurations will be available.
Additionally, Flipkart has revealed some specifications for both phones, including FHD+ AMOLED displays with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The phones are also expected to have a high refresh rate, though the exact number hasn’t been confirmed.
While these details offer a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming vivo T2 and T2x, we’ll have to wait for further details to learn more about these mid-range smartphones.
