Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, in a unique initiative for women empowerment, launched the ‘First Vodafone Angel store’, in Haryana at Yamuna Nagar. Angel Stores are Vodafone retail outlets managed and run entirely by women employees. This initiative is in line with Vodafone’s endeavor of encouraging diversity and inclusion at workplace by constantly improving and reinventing itself and offering its employees with best in industry workplace conditions
Vodafone is committed towards strengthening communities and making a meaningful contribution to society. Located in Yamuna Nagar, the Vodafone Angel Store is the first of its kind in Haryana region, with only women staff members, including security, pantry staff, customer service resources as well as management level personnel. The Vodafone Angel Store will continue to provide the finest customer service, which has been a Vodafone tradition.
Vodafone also took another step towards providing employment opportunities to the women by launching three Vodafone Mini Angel Stores in Ambala Cant , Jagadhri , Ambala City.
Mr. Y Puran Kumar, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Yamuna Nagar also graced the occasion with his presence.
