Vodafone’s Rs 399 RED plan now offers more than double data benefits
Competition in the telecom sector is really getting fierce and telcos are not leaving any stone unturned to woo customers. Recently, Airtel revamped its postpaid plans and now Vodafone is also following the same tactic. One of the largest telecom operator of the country has revised its Vodafone RED plan for its postpaid subscribers.
The company has revised its Rs 399 plan. Under the plan, the service provider offers unlimited local and STD calls, 100 SMS and 30GB monthly data. Users can also avail the data roll over benefit under the plan. Subscribers also have access to movies of worth Rs 4,000 through the Vodafone Play service for the period of 1 year and Magzter subscription for four months.
However, there is a catch to the unlimited calling. Vodafone subscribers are allowed to make daily calls of up to 250 minutes and 1,000 minutes per week. The plan also includes the Vodafone Red Shield which offers insurance and protection to the smartphone.
Earlier, the company was offering unlimited local and STD calls with 100 SMS and 10GB data under the Rs 399 plan. However, the company was not offering any movies or Magzter subscription. The official website of the company reveals that the updated plan is not available in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh circles. Recently, Airtel revised its Rs 399, Rs 499, Rs 799, Rs 1,199 plans for its postpaid subscribers. The company is now offering double data under all the above mentioned plans. Earlier, the users used to get 10GB data under the Rs 399 plan and now they will get 20GB data. Apart from this, the Airtel Postpaid users will get 40GB, 60GB and 90GB under the Rs 499, Rs 799 and Rs 1,199 respectively.
