The primary aim of the organization is to support the consumers,the line workers’ requirements and help the nation and the world in its fight against the global pandemic. Welspun Health will provide a wide range of hygiene products like masks, wipes, medical gowns, disposable linen, coveralls, hand sanitizing wipes, surface disinfectant wipes for medical professionals, institutional use and other personal care.
Due to the current situation the primary focus is on safety, health and hygiene. There is a rise in demand of sanitation solutions in every sector. Welspun with the help of it’s technical textile capabilities will manufacture high-quality personal protection equipment for the well being of people.
The company will also manufacture 250,000 masks per day including 3 ply surgical mask, reusable mask and N95 respirator. It is already producing 10,000 disposable coverall suits which are certified by SITRA. Welspun has developed nine certified varieties of BLOOD PENETRATION BARRIER MEDIUM . The company is also making washable medical gowns.It is manufacturing a variety of disposable wipes like hand sanitizers, surface disinfectant wipes, dry wipes and kitchen wipes. The linen category products include bedsheets,pillow covers, towels, blankets etc.These products are comfortable, easy to use, cost-effective and prevent spread of infection.
Welspun has a set-up of multiple clean rooms and in-house laboratories which makes the company independent. It conducts advanced tests on it’s own and provides quality assurance levels. The various advanced product performance tests includes tests for Bacterial Filtration Efficiency, Particle Filtration Efficiency, Synthetic Blood Penetration Factor, Flammability Tester and many more.
