Wipro Acquires German Firm Cellent AG For 520 crore

German firm Cellent a privately owned company is a part of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, which is the parent of three commercial banks and the bank for some Federal States in the country.

The deal is likely to be sealed by the end of this financial year.

With this move, Wipro gets way in to around 800 consultants based in the DACH region consisting of Germany, Austria and Switzerland in manufacturing and automotive areas.

According to experts, this acquisition will help Wipro generate more stable revenues from Europe.

This development comes four months after Wipro acquired Designit, a Danish firm.
