First-ever mobile learning platform for live classes crosses 250k installations
Setting yet another benchmark as a pioneer in the field of cloud-based education, WizIQ, one of the world’s largest online education platforms, recently crossed 250,000 installations for its mobile app. The app, which is the first-ever mobile learning platform for live interactive classes, is available for download on both Android and iOS platforms.
WizIQ’s mobile app leverages smartphones as a medium to allow students to attend live, interactive online classes from anywhere.
At the same time, they can use their smartphones or tablets to access previously recorded classroom sessions, course videos, audio sessions, documents and presentations. On-demand content sharing allows instructors the freedom of “just-in-time” uploading of audio and video recordings regardless of time or location.
While the platform facilitates real-time communication and collaboration between and among educators and students, it also allows them to stay up to date with notifications about live classes, tests and assignment deadlines.
The app has been well received globally, with Middle East, USA and India featuring most prominently in the number of installations.
Harman Singh, Founder & CEO of WizIQ, said, “The WizIQ Live Mobile Learning Platform enables educators to tap into a new generation of learners, allowing them to connect with students via a tool they are familiar with and are motivated to use. As the first-ever mobile platform capable of delivering live, interactive classes without compromising the learning experience, educators can unlock the true potential of mobile learning through our app.”
As one of the largest cloud-based platforms, WizIQ currently has four million registered learners and more than 400,000 active educators from 200 countries on its platform. Its award winning Virtual Classroom solution has also received widespread acclaim from education service providers from around the world for enabling online delivery of live instructor-led learning.
