Versant 80 records24 installations within 5 months of launch,powers Xerox to No.1 position in Q2 2015

management, showcased Versant 80 along with partner, Sahil Enterprises at Rajasthan Photo Fair, Jaipur starting Friday, October 30, 2015 to Sunday, November 01, 2015. As per the IDC data, Xerox India was ranked No. 1 in Q2 2015 in the Production Systems Group category on an activity basis; showcasing Xerox’s prowess and strength in the sector.
Xerox Versant 80 has been a great success in FY15 seeing 24 installations till September. The company expects more than 20 installations by the end of the year. The Versant 80 provides production press capabilities with walk-up simplicity, offset-quality performance and automated features that remove the guesswork from optimizing image quality, color and registration. Printing at 80 pages-per-minute (ppm) and the device delivers ultra HD, The Versant 80 comes with a choice of the latest servers powered by Fiery: the Xerox EX-i 80 EFI® Fiery® FS150, embedded Print Server or the Xerox EX 80 EFI® Fiery® FS150 Pro, External Print Server. This product is a great fit for photo-printing as it gives great color output with high image quality. Additionally, the product offers 10-bit image quality at 2400 x 2400 dpi; and can handle a variety of media types with a compact Belt Fuser system and Xerox’s EA Low Melt Dry Ink which is a great capability for photo-printing.
