Just a week after slashing the price of Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB variant, the Chinese smartphone maker has announced a price cut for Xiaomi Mi 4 16GB variant. The Xiaomi Mi 4 16GB variant is now available for Rs 14,999. This is the second price cut that the smartphone is experiencing from the time it was launched in the country.
Xiaomi Mi 4 16GB variant was originally launched with a price tag of Rs 19,999. It got its first price cut in the month of April, amounting to Rs 2000, bringing the price of the smartphone down to Rs 17,999. However, the company announced another price cut yesterday, slashing the price further by Rs 3000, bringing the cost down to Rs 14,999. The 16GB Mi 4 is available at the revised prices on Mi.com and Flipkart. The price cut will reflect on other sales channels soon.
Xiaomi claims to have sold 10 million Mi 4 units worldwide. To remind you about the specifications of the smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 4 packs a 12.7cm (5-inch) full HD 1080p display with 441ppi resolution. The smartphone runs on a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and 3GB RAM.
On the imaging front, the smartphone packs a 13MP rear camera featuring LED flash, 8MP front facing camera, and a 3080mAh battery. The connectivity options given in the smartphone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front it runs on Android KitKat wrapped under Xiaomi’s MIUI 6.0.
