In October, Xiaomi’s Redmi debuted the Note 12 series, which is now only available in China. The Note 12 series will soon be released in India, according to a recent announcement from Redmi’s Indian division, so that’s about to change.
Four smartphones make up the Redmi Note 12 series: the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and Redmi Note 12 Discovery (aka Explorer). Redmi appears to be bringing three Note 12 smartphones to India based on the image it posted. Redmi hasn’t given any specific names, but a closer look at the billboard makes it appear that the vanilla model won’t be introduced in India.
The Note 12 sports a dual camera arrangement on the back with a circular flash, whilst other models in the sequence have a triple rear camera setup with different-shaped flash modules. And all three of the phones we can see in the image have triple camera setups. The Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition has a 200MP primary camera and 210W wired charging, whereas the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro+, and Note 12 Discovery are all Dimensity 1080-powered smartphones with variations in the camera, battery, and memory categories. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC-powered vanilla Note 12, on the other hand, has a lower-resolution camera and a slower charging rate.
