Xiaomi has launched two new devices – Mi Note and Mi Note Pro – at an event in Beijing, China. These are two new flagship phones have been pitted against popular high-end phablets like Apple iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
In the last year’s releases of Xiaomi, the manufacturer had used several powerful hardware but not the top-of-the-line ones. In the new Note devices, though, the company has used latest components. At least it is absolutely true for Mi Note Pro. With a 14.48-cm (5.7-inch) 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution display, Mi Note Pro is powered by an 8-core Snapdragon 810 processor, the latest processor by Qualcomm. It runs at the speed of 2GHz and uses Adreno 430 graphics chip. It also packs 64GB internal storage and 4GB DDR4 RAM. With a DDR4 RAM, this is the successor to LG G-Flex 2. Mi Note Pro has been announced with a price tag of Yuan 3299 in Chinese currency, which estimates around Rs 33,000 approximately in India. The phablet will be available from March.
On the other hand, Mi Note is also quite powerful device. It’s powered by 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with four cores. The Mi Note packs 3GB RAM, 13MP camera with optical image stabilisation and 4MP front shooter. Mi Note also features a 14.48-cm (5.7-inch) display with 1080p resolution and the screen will also have a layer of curved Gorilla Glass, which will make it look more attractive. It will also feel better when held in the hand. Mi Note will be available in China from this month only at the price tag of Yuan 2299 for its 16GB model. It means in India Mi Note will cost around Rs 23,000. Xiaomi has not spoken a word about the two new devices’ India launch as of now. Xiaomi is planning to launch Mi 4 first in India , which means Mi Note is expected in the latter half of the year only.
