The first health band from Xiaomi, Xiaomi Mi Band, is all set to get launched on 18 August. At the Mi 4 launch event, the Chinese company announced this band which will be priced at $13 or roughly Rs 789.
Most of the present-day fitness bands, the likes of Sony SmartBand SWR10, cost more than Rs 5,000. This will be the first time that a fitness band comes around below Rs 1000. It’s highly hoped that Xiaomi will take a big leap in the wearable devices’ market. The Mi band comes with IP67 certification, which protects it from dust, rain, snow and more. This band can also be used to track activities like running, walking, sleeping and so on.
The water confrontation power remains up to one meter depth and this band can also be used to track swimming motions. Its battery is also very powerful as the tracker’s standby time is up to 30 days. This device doesn’t look boring at all and a host of colour options are available like bright pink, orange and blue. One of the most interesting features it sports is it’s able to unlock a device too.
