Xiaomi seems to be on quite a launch spree lately. The company recently launched its Redmi Note 4 smartphone in China. And now, information about another of company’s upcoming devices has surfaced online.
The smartphone in question is the Mi Note 2. A batch of images has been posted on Chinese social networking website Weibo. In addition to that, an official looking advertising render has also been posted online, revealing some of the key specs and design of the upcoming smartphone.
Going by the leaked information, as spotted by GizmoChina website, the Mi Note 2 will have a 5.5-inch OLED display in two resolution variants – Full HD and Quad HD. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. It’ll probably have 128GB of internal storage.
The official looking render also provides a hint about the design and build quality of Mi Note 2. If the same is to believed, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will likely have a design identical to the Mi 5. This also includes an all-metal build and dual-camera setup at the back.
Xiaomi recently launched its Redmi Note 4 smartphone in China. The company has priced the 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant at 899 Yuan, while the 3GB RAM/64GB storage version is priced at 1199 Yuan. The smartphone will be available in Gold, Silver and Grey colour options.
In terms of specifications, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. Powering the handset is a 2.1GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20processor coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM. It offers 16GB/64GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing microSD cards.
Redmi Note 4 sports hybrid dual-sim functionality and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED Flash and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. On the connectivity front, the Redmi Note 4 offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass and microUSB. It is equipped with a fingerprint sensor and is backed by a huge 4,100mAh battery.
