Xiaomi Redmi 4A to go on flash sale today exclusively on Amazon India

Xiaomi Redmi 4A, the budget smartphone that was launched in India back in March, will be going on sale today once again. The smartphone is priced at Rs 5,999 and will be available exclusively from Amazon India starting 12pm IST. The Xiaomi India website also says the users can pre-order the handset tomorrow (May 26) at 12PM IST from Mi.com India. It is worth adding that the units will be available in limited quantities and that the order quantity for the handset is limited to 1 unit per customer.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A was launched in China in November last year. The smartphone 4A sports a 5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution. It’s powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD cards. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s MIUI skin layer running on top.
The dual-SIM smartphone comes sans finger-print sensor. For imaging, the Redmi 4A has a 13MP rear camera with phase detection auto focus and LED flash. A 5MP front-facing shooter is also there. Major connectivity options include 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 3,120mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
Couple of days ago the company held flash sales of it Redmi 4 smartphone on Amazon India. The three configurations in which the Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes in are 2GB RAM/16GB storage (Rs 6,999), 3GB RAM/32GB storage (Rs 8,999) and 4GB RAM/64GB storage (Rs 10,999). Besides the flash sales, Xiaomi also gave some offers and discounts on accessories to its customers.
Available in Black and Gold colour options, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes as a successor to the last year’s Redmi 3S Prime. Some of the key specifications of the smartphone are 5-inch HD display, 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 4,100mAh battery.
