Xiaomi has launched its second made in India smartphone, Redmi Note Prime.
Priced at Rs 8,499, Redmi Note Prime will be exclusively available on Amazon.in and Mi.com, starting at 10.00am on December 15, 2015.
Redmi Note Prime is the second Mi phone to be manufactured in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with Foxconn Technology Group. The smartphone is an enhanced version of Redmi Note 4G with dual SIM slots, 2GB RAM, 16GB Flash (expandable to 32GB) and a Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor.
The smartphone has a 5.5- inch HD IPS display with 1280 X 720 resolution and 267 PPI. It packs 3100mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery and boasts of 13MP f/2.4 rear camera and 5MP f/2.2 front-facing camera.
